Default Treating SAD with Vitamin D Results

We've had some good results treating SAD symptoms with vitamin D and I thought it would be interesting to find out the medium, dosages, and results.

Lots of choices!

I started taking vitamin D for it's benefits in general, not specifically for SAD. I have found that I feel better, mentally, this winter than I have in the past. In the past, the short days were discouraging, but, now they are just short days.

I've been doing very well on my 2000ish IU per day so far, but I've noticed lately I've had a tendancy to be a little down and listless. I'm going to break out my Ott light and see if that helps.

I'm thinking of upping my D, but I have trouble getting more in in divided doses with food before 3pm!

This is the deepest part of winter and it's normal that the D would need to be upped now. You can just up the amount in each dose whether it's two or three.
