Default Experience with Gout?

Looking for information on how to do low-carb while dealing with gout.

The pain is incredible and, frankly, I am scared of eating as much meat as I normally would and am "off-diet" now.

Any suggestions, help, tips or advice on doing this?

Tart/sour cherries work for many people. 10-12 cherries, or 1-2 tsp of unsweetened tart cherry juice (available at health food stores).

There's been a number of threads on gout over the years: This link should locate them for you.

Hi Nancy...that is easy to link to a search...I didn't know that could be done.

Ed, I put some of those direct links into your Introduction post yesterday.
