Default Truvia

Has anyone tried this new sweetener that's been advertised on TV? It's called 'Truvia'.

I haven't seen it in any shops yet, so haven't been able to read the label... is it legal for LC diets? And does it taste good? (I like Splenda, but can't stand any other artificial sweeteners, as they taste too chemical.)

Yes it is legal for LC diets.

More on it here: http://forum.lowcarber.org/showthread.php?t=435852

Love it, use it. This is the first sweetener I tried after starting Atkins and IMHO it is the best. I buy it in the little canister as opposed to the packets. It has a nice texture, not too powdery like Splenda, and dissolves readily. Also has a very pleasant vanilla aroma. It's not bitter like stevia can be.

Yes, I have. I really am not keen on sweetener's. Hence I buy un-sweetend everything.

Bought Truvia last week to try and have been happily adding it to my yogurt etc. It tastes just like sugar and not at all artificial.

However, more expensive than other sweetener.
