With any nutrition class,(in college now so this applys even more to HS) it has to be taken with a grain of salt. There is still much to be learned though just a general understanding of Kcal and how they work in our body. Digestive track, slow fast twitch muscle fiber ect...

I am not a true low carber i follow a lower carb regment then that of US guidlines. But carbs are needed when seriously weight lifting.

My point here though is he is probaly intersted in the whole nutriton/food feild and just learn what is feed to him, process it. Then try to challenge it. Instead of giving a speach of a diet that is made up of 55-65% carbs he could give a presentation on a lower carb diet like a 40-40-20 split. And the reasons behind it

Smile To Michael and his mother

I belive this is not just another story. This is the strory many of us wnted as teenagers and couldn't have. Michael, I know you must feel so great among your friends and in front of that world that eats us alive and preassures us to fight to be healthy when it is something very easy. I want to tell you that you have to thank God for the mother he has given you who has struggled with you, sholder by shoulder until you reach your goal, a mother that only wants the best for you and only wants you to be happy.
To you madam congratulations you are ne of those wonder mothers which are so hard to find today.

A THOUSAND TIMES FOR YOU
ANDREINA

Smile thank you

Adrienna: Thank you. I appreciate your kudos. My son has taught me a lot along the way and I just hope that he always keeps in mind all those things he has learned on this journey and takes it into his adulthood.
