Thanks, I downloaded it too to use with the free Kindle app I put on my old iPad.

Did you just happen to notice this deal or is there a way to get automatic alerts about free Kindle books on specific topics?

I just bought a nook from Barnes & Noble and I am technologically challenged. Could somebody explain if it's possible to download this book to my PC and then transfer it from there to the nook? Sorry if I sound stupid. When it comes to learning technology, I am.

Becky was the one who told me (thanks again Becky!) about an email service that sends you a daily Kindle list of your interests. So I set the price to FREE, as that is as much as I am willing to "pay" And picked only some categories that interest me..this cookbook is In the Cooking, Food and Wine category, Lifestyle sometimes has diet and pysch issues as well. The website is eReaderIQ.com. Remove their tag if posting it here.

I'm rather technically challenged myself, but think when I looked into buying the Nook that Nook and Kindle are different formats, and you would have to dance through hoops to move it over. But there is a free Kindle Reader for either a Mac or PC, so you can read it on your laptop or desktop. I also learned that you can copy parts of Kindle books by opening the App in Finder on the Desktop. So if you wanted to print a recipe, you can though often some of the formatting is missing. So I copy The recipe to a blank Word doc, and buff up the format, and print it that way.
