PilotGal. No. It wasn't you at all

I have been seeing mac n cheese everywhere. It is a thing for the holidays many make and it isn't you at all on that so no apologies necessary

I was thinking of our lasagna for dinner that everyone wants for Christmas. Then I thought of mom's mac n cheese. I didn't have ingredients in the house for that and sure wasn't gonna make that, too much work for me LOL but I did have all the stuff to make the mac.

I have been extremely tight carnivore. I do this sometimes. At some point I go hog wild and a bit crazy. But in the end I get thru all the stupid of it and just calm down and keep eating my carnivore foods.....so yea, it is cool on that one.

air fryer thingy.
I am seeing a ton of them being promoted for Xmas time in commercials. Seems like some way better gadgets out there for air fryer products vs. the older days. I had one long ago and it didn't do as promised well at all.....but now I am seeing some definitely nicer products out there. I am on the fence to get one or not kinda. Not sure if I would use it.

I get that way. I latch onto a new meat and run it around and play with it a bit for a change. I so get that

I get into a seafood kick also. Being holiday time the shrimp and crab goes on sale decent. Time to fill up the freezer more now to save a few bucks.

So I hit the scale. 19.4 gone. OMG come on ya know....give me that elusive 20 gone on the scale...so close LOL

you got me thinking about tenderloins..
i went to the meat market this morning for chicken parts..
namely wings and breasts and I found a tenderloin for $21..
2.90 lbs.. i just sliced the meat up into large hunks, about 7 of them and put on a cookie rack in the fridge, on the bottom shelf..
a little dry aging will make them taste better.
i also got chicken wings and breasts.. I really want to do chicken tenders in my new air fryer... perfect for me.
so... thanks Karen, for the suggestion of tenderloin..
found a reasonably priced one..
stayed in budget.

karen, do you have a couple of those dental picks?
i got mine at walgreens.. i usually go through all the little crevices in my teeth to remove debris... i also floss, but meat being tissue will get stuck in the teeth now and then... keep your little picker next to your favorite chair.

wow almost 3 lbs of tenderloin at around $7 per lb.

that was a freaking steal. You did great on that and yes that aging and resting, wow you will have such great meat! I am jealous on that price for sure.

Lowest for me is around $10.99 lb. down from that scary $16.99 lb type but I can get it whole...for like $7.99 but that sucker is big and costs big bucks usually.

I best check my local butcher and ask if it is going lower on the whole tenderloin cause while the cost hurts initially I just love a soft tenderloin when I want it and it freezes great also.

I just use toothpicks but my hubby has those flossers plus pick end with little fangs on it to clean the crevices. I best start grabbing those LOL thanks for the suggestion.

still trying to find a good ribeye steak sale. just not out there right now, waiting on that elusive 'hit low price' sale I now will come LOL.....boy I am watchful for that happening soon I hope LOL

today is hit the store for some meat sales.
they got chuck roasts on a good sale price so gonna get a few. wonderful in the crockpot. easy and simple.

Feeling just so wonderful on carnivore.
Head in a good space on it and not feeling deprived or anything.

driving home from my moms yesterday it was around 2 and no food for the day yet.....I got starved up fast. I passed all the food places thinking, just get a naked burger. Just get some roasted chicken bites. Just get.....nope. Said heck no and wanted to eat at home.

got home and make a ribeye steak and jumbo shrimp. Beats the hell out of eating crap from fast food places. I was happy as a clam after eating that good food.

Scale SO close to dropping 20 lbs fast. Right on that 19.6 lbs gone....come on darn it LOL It will give me that 20 number I want to see gone sooner than later. Just waiting. Then I am running after the 25 gone number one thing at a time tho...lol

This way of eating is so over the top wonderful for me.
No matter how I flounder a bit I come back here and feel my best, get results, love to eat this way and I find it as my home literally. Of all the lc plans and all....zero carb carnivore is where I fit. I do my best. Feel my best. Just can't rave enough about it

I watched the carnivore noodle recipe. For whatever reason, pasta is one of the things I don't miss at all. My son, however, loves pasta. He doesn't eat carnivore, but he very definitely prefers to eat low carb. At 14, he's getting very tall and thin and needs a lot of food to fuel his growing body, but as much as he loves pasta, he notices that it drags him down. These noodles will be a good option for him.

p.s. The lady says wax paper, but I think she means parchment paper.

I hit the 20.2 loss today on the scale.

Finally hit the 2 number I wanted to see.

Now for more lbs off and keep on trucking.

I eat so darn well.
I eat as much as I want.
I am so satisfied.

and I lose weight and feel the best I ever felt. This suits me to a true T.

happy and just keep moving forward is all I am going to do on carnivore. Embrace it and succeed.

So I ate lousey buffalo wings last night and scraped a bit of cheese and pepp off a pizza from a pizza buffet place.

wow. stunk LOL

feeling a bit icky this morning but I am super hungry.

Just not good food yesterday at all.

time for a honking big ribeye steak for me to feel better!
will eat some shrimp and alfredo sauce for dip tonight.

the more I stay on simple, same food the better I thrive.
I change it up a tad and do worse in the guts dept.

I find myself CRAVING my beef and shrimp and crab. CRAVE my cheeseburger patties. CRAVE a fatty country rib. My focus is on my meats and seafood now and I want them

how do you make your alfredo sauce?

I made "chaffles" this morning. egg & cheese in a waffle maker...
see how long they last me. it's very little food, but very filling, apparently.

i'm going for steak and salad, tonight at a friends home...
i'm bringing the filet mignon that I got for such a great deal.

I heard of the chaffles and tried long ago to make some 'egg' substitutes for bread. never suited me in taste...it was like it was all egg and mushy texture wise to me.

never thought of using a waffle maker tho. I did older subs. I might give it another old college try on that one.

https://www.bing.com/videos/search?...F8609&FORM=VIRE

very simple alfredo. I use less than this to make a small batch....I use 1 cup cream, 1/2 stick butter and a heck of a lot of cheese to truly make it more thick and gooey to stick to my shrimp.

also thinking of those 'carni-noodles' paired with alfredo....sounds delish.

jealous...filet, umm so good!!

need beef

kinda eating off that a bit with useless food like the chicken wings and more.

nothing sets best but beef with me.

hitting grocery for some sales. Am upping beef beef beef

when I walk from it a tad more and not make it the focus I lose a bit of ground in energy, in focus, in the body.....I just feel it.
and then I know.....get your butt back on the beef LOL
