Hope you are feeling better. Not a good time to get ill, but I am also feeling a bit under the weather, I think we all do so much before the big day that it drains us right down. I am going to bake my meats today and make some Santa cookies, so I will have far less to do tomorrow, and I can just enjoy my family. I am sending you my support and strenght. Will check in later to see how you are going. We are going to my friends home tonight that way it will be easier for her and the little one to make it through tonight. Thanks again for your kind words..

Hi AZdweller
Boy you and your family have done a great job losing so much weight. I am so proud of you. Way to go you can make it through this time also. I will lookforward to your post here and that will inspire me to do better also.

Well everyone got to run, got to bake some stuff.
Catch you later. Keep posting and reading
Warmest Regards and Best Wishes.

Hello My Dear Weight loss friends,

Merry Christmas Eve!! I am so calm today..everything is finished for Christmas. We are leaving for Florida's Disneyworld the day after christmas...and my weight loss goal is nearly complete. I've lost 24 pounds since October 9th, and am so happy to have woke up this morning to within 3 pounds of my final goal. I really couldn't have done it with my own will alone...but being able to come here and talk with you all has been the extra boost I needed.

I wanted to get down to 125 before our vacation so that I could have a 10 pound leeway to eat what I wanted on vacation for 8 days and still weigh in at 135 pounds. This is the weight I was when if first met my husband 21 years ago!!! I can hardly believe it...he is noticing me a lot more now too (he's always been a sweetheart, but the weight loss has spiced up our relationship).

It is so cool, I am going clothes shopping today at the mall! I can't wait to try on all the in style clothes and have them fit decent on me! The only thing I'm noticing is that it seems like all the pants are stretch! (I need something that will condense the legs and not expand with them!!) also...it they fit so low on the hips that when you bend over the bottom shows...so I need to find some high rise pants that are tall enough that dont' have spandex in them!! May the force be with me!!

Gai...I am so proud of you...You've found something that is getting your through the days lighter...and water is something we usually don't get enough of...and helps fill us up too..so we don't feel as hungry....not to mention how it makes our skin look!

Banker Mom...so glad your daughter is better, and in time for Christmas too! It sounds like you are doing great on your low carb program, especially considering you are battling heart problems....arrythmia is when your heart beats irregulary..isn't it...do they put pace makers in because of that? I didn't realize you were going through that dear, prayers go out to you and your family, wishes for the merriest Christmas ever.

Well gals....I will probably not be posting until after I get back from vacation on the 3rd..and I will definately still need you guys..cause I suspect I will be at least 10 pounds heavier...(I breathe in food and gain weight with this thryoid oroblem)

Merry Christmas to all!!
Loriann

What kind of problem, BankerMom? My DH found out Oct. 1 that he had atrial fibrillation, and has been off work since. The problem has weakened his heart, because it was working so hard. He was in the hospital four days, and when he tried to go back to work, he was so dizzy he nearly passed out. He will see another specialist Jan. 4. But your post sounded so familiar -- I will keep you in my prayers.

Default Start over?

I think we should make a new goal, small, short-term and start a new post together. Maybe another 10 by Valentine's Day? In fact, that might be a good title -- 'Another 10 by Valentine's Day.' That 10 would approximately remove me from the world of "obesity" to just plain overweight! (Like that sounds good???) Whatcha think?

Good Morning AZDweller
That's a great Idea, I think that will be great, that a good short term goal for me.
You have done really well so far.
I hope you enjoyed your Christmas.
I see you are a funny caring person, never as obesity or overweight.
Hopefully we will get the response for the other people here soon.
Catch you later.
Warmest Regards,
Joy

Hey, you're up late! I just got home from my second job.

Newest dinner treat that my husband started to make. Low carb smaller tortillas, topped with homemade, very low carb tomato sauce, covered with mozzarella cheese and pepperoni and olives, or sausage and mushroom. It's better than most of the lo carb pizzas I've had, and it's about 5 carbs. I have a taste for pizza again!

Hi, everyone.
Almost time for a new year, and a new start. I started it -- "Another 10 pounds by Valentine's Day" and hope everyone will continue. That gives us about six weeks, which is less than two pounds a week. Maybe some will take off more, but let's all succeed at 10 pounds.

See you at the new thread...
