Default Cholesterol question

I just had my cholesterol checked, I have not received the results yet but I was fasting for around 20 hours before I took the test (dont ask it was a mess)

Do you think this would have any impact on the results?

If I'm not mistaken, you're supposed to fast for at least 10 to 12 hours for this. The extra time you fasted could improve your lab results, if anything.

Nah, shouldn't have an impact. The reason they have you fast is so that any cholesterol from what you ate that hasn't been processed yet isn't still running around in your bloodstream.
