Hi Daddio!

WB, congrats on 200 days.

I've got 75 days.

I'm going to declare possible off-plan foods tonight. DH got the day off, and wants to go out. I want to go to a sports bar around the corner where they actually do lots of great low-enough carb food, anyway, so it might not be needed.

I'm MOMD #228.

I don't know that I can really claim this, though. The past couple of weeks I've been eating a lot more than planned, but it has all been perfectly acceptable LC food, just too much. I've still had a calorie deficit every day except one.

But, for me, the big concern (yet) isn't this, but controlling the sugar demon and I am still keeping him tightly caged.

I say claim it, WB. That's exactly how people stay on-plan. Where calorie math fails is being able to account for exactly how much food you need and why. That can vary. I think you're smart to listen to your appetite.

I'm glad you bumped this, because I needed it. I went back to work this week and although it's going okay so far, I'm physically and mentally exhausted, if that makes sense. Yesterday, I was feeling frustrated and brain-zapped, and impulsively munched on crapola. So I want to be motivated to say 'no' to my inner two-year-old again. Today is (another) day one.

This sure is easier when you're stuck at home and do your own grocery shopping.

Four on-plan days for me. Today should be an easy fifth, and the rest of the week at work should be easy, too. It's a lot less tempting to mindlessly munch when you're working in a sweltering kitchen. The heat and humidity here has been oppressive for about a week now, and is supposed to continue until at least Wednesday.

Looking forward to it and I agree with Kristine. If YOU know that your intent is to slay the carb monster, then take it!
