I went off the deep end, but Friday ended up being even worse.. I think I was drowning for a bit.

I have resurfaced, hopped in my boat, and I'm paddling like H.E.doubletoothpicks.

Did fine. On CALP I can have regular carbs, in a balanced meal once a day. So I had the goodies I wanted on Thanksgiving, with lots of turkey, vegies and salad.Had lots of baked stuff from my MIL, which I tossed last night so it is gone!Feels great to have my fridge back to normal- normal for me- lots of vegies and protein. I even did a Costco run for eggs, meat, salmon and salad yesterday. Finished the last of the leftover turkey for lunch, and will have salmon tonight.
Loved the holiday:have so much to be thankful for, and loved having family here.

I ate whatever I felt like (and I felt like eating a lot!) including any and all carbs. I felt fine afterwards, although it was VERY hard to not eat carbs the next day. Got back on track, though. Was up three lbs, but am back down as of yesterday, so it seems to have worked out okay for me. I guess the trick is getting right back on track. Difficult.

Vydor, it must be a great feeling to be finishing school - congrats!

I had carbs over the weekend, and boy, it wasn't very pretty! Too much junk! With the impending OTHER holiday looming larger than Santa's pants, I have to get full control and make sure there is plenty of good food available. I am in charge of appetizers, and sure, I'll bring mozzarella sticks (breaded) and other junk, but probably some goodies like shrimp, cut veggies, nuts and cheese! Those carby folks will never know what hit them!
