Default oil of oregano

I have started taking it and will let you know my results. One thing I have noticed after a few days is that my 'butterfly rash' has paled! Heres an informative site along with an excerpts -
http://www.thewolfeclinic.com/oregano.html
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Oil of oregano is antiviral, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiparasitic. It also has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects and is an ideal product to use for people who suffer from CFS and/or fibromyalgia. This is not regular oregano, but a wild form (wild mountain oregano, vulgare species) of the spice, which has, until recently, not been available in Canada. Do not use a substitute or oregano from a grocery store because it will have no effect. oil of oregano natural herbal supplement offers a variety of remedies
Nevertheless, true oil of oregano offers many exciting remedies to a variety of ailments. In "Herbal Renaissance", Steven Foster credits oregano as having "been employed to treat indigestion, diarrhea, nervous tension, insect bites, toothache, earache, rheumatism, and coughs due to whooping cough and bronchitis (primarily for it's antispasmodic effects)."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
PLEASE NOTE! This is a powerful herb and must be started at low doses otherwise you may get unpleasant 'cleansing' symptoms.. I add 2 drops to water in morning only then will add 2 drops at night in a week or two. Also anyone suffering with anemia or blood problems please consult your doctor before taking as it may inhibit the absorbtion of iron.

There are a lot of good informative sites other than the one I have posted on OoO.

Please let me know if you have tried it or are currently taking it and what results you have experienced.
Thanks.

I was at walmart today and found oil of oregano capsules, do you know if there is a difference between the capsules and the actual oil?
Thanks,
Jan

How many Mg's do you suggest? I think they were like 150 MG or 175 MG
Thanks for answering. I ordered to bottle of the oil, one for me and one for my mother. Will let you know how we like it--I should receive it in the next couple of days.

You get used to it. Put it under your tongue. 2 drops/twice a day.

Now you know why so many use capsules, lol!!!

Default Hi, Kittenlady...

saw your post about getting flushed after eating and had to respond. I thought I was the only one that did that!! I thought it was my imagination all this time.

I am going to try the oil of oregano too to see if it helps anything.

Hey Guys, I thought I would add this journal article abstract that I found. The suggested dosage? 8.6mg/kg of body weight. So I am 46.8kg so for me this means 402.48mg of Oregano!

Here is the article:

I have a rather large patch of oregano in my back yard. It grows like crazy here. And I just found how to make my own oil of oregano....
