Yo Daddio. Welcome back! (Kind of?)

I've always loved the central idea of this challenge - only going off plan when it's planned ahead - but I don't think I've ever participated. Is there an application form I can fill out for WONJ status?

It's a great way of looking at it if you're impulsive by nature, like I am.

Hey Ms. A!!!

MOMD 2

My rules: gluten-free, sugar-free, keto. And by keto I mean at least 70% fat. I try to stay under 25 g of carbs a day. But that might vary slightly depending on the amount of food I eat. So long as I keep most of my carbs coming from veggies, I will count it as a win.

I tried to sign up yesterday and declare mastery of my domain, but I must have closed the tab without submitting the post. Oh well.

MOMD day 1 (yesterday)... although I've been on plan with no crap since munching on a handful of DH's chips some time last week.

Hi Kristine! Welcome and congrats!

I am MOMD 4. Breakfast is easy. Especially if I’m at work. Two eggs topped with cheese bacon and avocado. It’s kind of an expensive habit at work. The deli does it really well. Lunch is more challenging. Yesterday I had leftover stuffed mushroom casserole. Today I had a beef hotdog topped with cheese and bacon. That was just to tide me over because I was hungry but I didn’t wanna eat a lot because I knew I was making shrimp scampi on top of spaghetti squash tonight. And I have leftovers for tomorrow!

Hiya! Day 2 in the books for me.

I'm jealous of your work deli. Because there are so few people in the building due to the pandemic, the food at my work (I'm in food service) has been pared down to almost nothing. I'm getting burned out on the stuff I can have. Trying to fish out decent LC/gluten-free food from donut shop slop is tough, and I'm getting burned out on deli meat and cheese. I used to be able to go to the burrito place for a riceless burrito bowl with nice fresh ingredients, or another cafeteria for real eggs cooked however you liked them.

I do have an advance cheat to declare already. My DH left me some chips that he didn't like, but I know I'll like them. I'm going to save them for the next time I get hit with hypoglycemia or I can't stand the too-deep keto feeling. Chips are a not-that-bad off-plan option for me because I just don't like them that much.

3 days MOMD.

I'm further motivated by rather spontaneous appetite loss and weight loss despite the fact that it's TOM time and I had no PMS weight gain. My weight is below my stat of 155. I'd love to make it stick.

I know what you mean Kristine! I love the appetite loss effect.

Our company wants the majority of people in the office. Hence the deli being open.

I am MOMD #6 today.

MOMD day 4. I almost had potato bacon soup for lunch at work - I'm the one that makes it and pours it, and goddamn it smells awesome even right through my mask. But I had already made my salad and I would have been mad at myself.

(Homemade cauliflower bacon soup is also awesome, in case you're wondering.)

Kristina - Congrats on not having any. That can be tough to do.

I keep saying I will make soup but, alas, never do. lol

Keep moving forward Ms. A! One day at a time.
