Default Glad I found this thread

Hi I have been on a low carb diet off and on for a long time. I tried CAD and liked it, but skimped on the rewards meals. I need to do this right. I am hoping to find friends who are in the same situation I am. At 67 years with bad hips, loosing weight is getting harder. I am almost at a point in my live where I feel that it isn't worth the effort. Could use a lot of support.

Thanks for being here
Deb

hi Deb-
I just posted to you on another thread- hi.
What is EFGT?

I would really recommend you read the CALP book if you haven't already- it is written for people 40 and up- I love it! My RMs are not skimpy- I want to feel satisfied, but also balanced. Come on over and read our posts.

I have read all the books and even have the recipe book. It has been a long time and I am going to read it again. I like the fact that it is geared to us older gals. I really was ready to give up.

Thanks for being there
Deb

Glad your here and this section is being revived as I am very serious about CAD. Seems the original book/plan is what has always done it for me.
