Default Cad and Calp?

Can somebody please tell me the difference between Cad and Calp? I do know Cad well but what about Calp?
In a simple way please.

Thanks in advance!

hi-
CALP is a newer book. Much simpler (IMHO) and more emphasis on BALANCE in the RM. Also all RMs start with a salad.

RMs to be balanced with 1/3 carb, 1/3 protein, 1/3 veg. If you want more, take equal servings of each. RM isn't to be a binge (although I think it always is when beginning the diet -- then it tapers off to being under control). So if you're reward is dessert, don't have potatoes. And yes, always start with a salad.

CALP has different chapters for more specific requirements, such as low fat, low sodium, etc.
