Default Green Tea

Has anyone ever had side effects from drinking green tea? I seem to be getting diarrhea from it (sorry if TMI). I just started back on induction so not really sure if it is that or the tea or just me...

It's not a common side effect but diarrhea has been mentioned as a reason for people failing to complete Green Tea research trials.
However it is worth persisting with.
Green tea is anti inflammatory , anti microbial and anti fungal, if as part of your induction you have also changed to Coconut oil (with similar properties) you will inevitably be getting some die off of pathogenic gut flora or candida, it takes a while to introduce and establish new gut flora so perhaps go easy on the green tea but persist. It may be worth taking a probiotic for 3~4 weeks.

Nephropal has a post today that shows one of the ways Green Tea influences metabolism. There is plenty of other research showing it's beneficial effects.

Thank you for the info. I have been reading up on the candida and am coming to the conclusion that it has hindered me in the past. I will keep going with the tea, the benefits outweigh the current side effect and I am getting more exercise visiting the ladies room . I will try cutting my intake and see if it lets up. Going to make some yogurt as soon as I am done with induction. Figure my system will be cleaned out by then

It would be worth adding Curcumin as that is Antifungal
Resveratrol and its antifungal activity against Candida species.

these are the ones I use.
Doctor's Best, Meriva, Phytosome Curcumins
Resveratrol
I buy from IHERB because their shipping to UK is cheapest but you may find the same cheaper elsewhere Code ~~~~~~ saves $5 for newbies at iherb.

Resveretrol for candida overgrowth? Interesting. Doing a candida cleanse right now, will add that to the mix.
Thanks Hutchinson!
