I have been blowing the lc thing all last week but I can still tell a difference. However, I am not measuring until I am SURE that it will show. I don't need any further discouragements at this time.

I have to admit I have not taken my CLA on a regular basis. The morning dose I take with my vitamins, easy enough, but I forget to take the afternoon and evening dose. I set myself three daily reminders to help me. Does everyone eat three meals a day? Will CLA work with only two meals a day, any thoughts?

As long as you're taking 3000 a day as the instructions say, I can't think it will cause you problems... Try it and see... We're all experimenting here. Let us know what your progress is.

Well, I still haven't seen any difference. If anything, I've been doing better as far as eating and have been working out and nothing has changed (I'm actually a bit up in measurements). Seriously, it's almost as if it's making it worse. I know it's not, and I still plan on sticking with it for at least another month, but I was just hoping for more. I don't mean to be a downer but I just wanted you to know there are some people out there not seeing results. Could be a ymmv thing. . . I'm thinking it might just be stress and lack of sleep having it's way with my body.

A couple of people have noticed measurements moving up, but remember this does promote the development of muscle, so it could be that...?
Stick with it... I see from articles the average is around 5lb in a year from the abdo/hip area... sounds good to me.

Sapphire2, I rarely eat breakfast, and get nauseated taking anything on an empty stomach, so I usually take 1 CLA at lunch (noon), 1 at dinner (6p) and another before bedtime (10p). No bad side-effects yet after doing this for about a week.

I asked almost the same question a few days ago! Hope this helps!

I have freaked out before because of developing muscle and my measurements increasing. I say keep up what you are doing and soon the measurements will change in the direction you want. I went up an inch only to lose 2 later on.

After a week using CLA my stomach looks smaller - I haven't measured it yet but I am down 1# from what I gained (haven't updated stats).

I'm going to stick it out for a month and if there is a change I will keep going, if not, I can try something else. The girl at GNC said to give it a month....

I started my CLA challenge on 9/14 - two weeks ago today.

My results so far:

~Bra line : down 1"
~Midriff: down 1"
~Belly Button: down 2.25"
~hips: down .25"

Overall, skin looks smoother and tighter. I am very satisfied with the results, and plan on continuing for at least another two weeks before measuring.

(weight down less than 4 pounds in that time)

I remembered to take all three doses today. So I'll count today as my day one and guage my progress from here on in. I set myself three daily reminders so I don't forget. Today's measurements:

At Navel: 44 1/2"
High Waist: 36 3/4"
Kangaroo Pouch aka Lower Stomach: 46"
L Thigh: 25 1/4"
L Inner Thigh: 28 1/4"

Now (Sept 29):
Bust: 40.5"
High Waist: 34" (-1")
JellyBelly bulge: 40" (-1/2")

Ten days ago (Sept 19):
Bust: 40.5"
High waist: 35"
JellyBelly bulge: 40.5"

I would have bet the farm that my measurements would have been lower. I feel my abdomen is smoother and flatter, more taut. Even at a stall (153-155 lbs. for about 3 weeks, bleh..), I really feel and appear to have lost mass.

Oh well..! So far, I am intrigued with the results and definitely am going to keep on with the CLA. It has so many other health benefits as well, it seems to be a worthy supplement for many reasons!

I have been on it since 9/10 and it is working - don't want to measure again til it's been one month.
