Default Cream Cheese Penguins--Martha Stewart would be proud

I'm going to a neighborhood Christmas party, and have been looking around for cold appetizers to take (I'm making up a platter of all low-carb appetizers.) I have to admit that I haven't tried this one yet, but it sounds so cute, especially for the holidays, that I just have to share it right away. http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Cream-...ins/Detail.aspx

Besides these cute, but time consuming penguins, I'm also including asparagus/ham/cream cheese rollups. Any other great ideas??

Thanks!

Tami

Love those Penguins!! Here's another *simple* appetizer idea:

Mix finely minced, stuffed green olives with softened cream cheese, add a bit of finely grated sharp cheddar. Spread on sliced salami to cover, roll & refrigerate. To serve, slice into pinwheels and arrange on a platter, offer colored toothpicks.

Folks seem to love these! [Be sure to check with the deli for the carb count in the Salami - it can vary greatly brand to brand.

Have fun!

Holly
