Default Parmesan walnut and sage crisps

Parmesan walnut and sage crisps

35g parmesan, finely grated
35g walnuts, crushed
shake of salt
shake of onion powder
grind of black pepper
1/2 tsp dried sage

Mix all the ingredients together. Drop teaspoonsful onto a pan over a medium heat and cook until the cheese is melted, then flip over with a palette knife and cook on the other side until lightly browned and crisp.

I'm not big on snacks but those sound outstanding! I have to ask, where did you get the idea? I would never had thought to put that together but I can "taste" it in my head and it sounds inspired!

Hi Liz

I wish I could remember. I think it may be a dim and dusty memory from a TV chef that put the walnut with parmesan. The sage and onion additions are entirely my own
Anyway, they are so quick and easy, and use ingredients I always have on hand. Very moreish though - I had to hide them away or DH would have inhaled the lot.
