Default which book is the best one???

Hi everyone!
I've been on atkins for the last 6 months and have only lost 3 lbs.
I've tried everything to lose and I cant do it. So I'm thinking that maybe its time to try something different.I've been doing a lot of reading and searching on the net about S.S. and have decided that this might work for me. I'm just not sure what book to buy? Which do you all recommend? I need to lose 25 lbs and really wanted to have lost it already before the summer but I guess thats not gonna happen. But I can still look sexy for christmas!

The latest book is probably the most up to date.....Fast & Easy. It has quick and easy recipes in it too....The other books have good recipes too. You could get them from the library....

Welcome, Karin,

I think you're going to love this plan. I went through all the other ones, and this is the only one that I can stick with so far . With Atkins I tried to stay on Induction for a long time, and I ended up cheating.

As far as the books go, I have gotten 4 of them from the library, and I find them all to be about the same. They all have a lot of recipes but manage to go over the plan.

Good luck!
Sandy

I don't recommend the first book, "Eat Great Lose Weight", because she made some fairly significant changes since that one, but the others are all good.

Well i went out this morning and bought the Eat, cheat, and melt the fat away book. I've been reading it all day. Very interesting. She sure does explain things in a "lay man" terms that were very easy to understand. Not like other diet books I have read and its all "high tech" doctor words. I have grasped the idea and plan to get a few things tomorrow and start on wednsday. I'm actually looking forward to doing this. I even got mom to buy a copy of the book too. She isn't over weight but my dad has Type 2 diebities and I thought this might help her learn to cook better foods for him , actually for the both of them.
Thanks for the replies
