Thumbs up New Soda Discovery with Splenda

Hi! For all you soda junkies like myself I found a soda other then Diet Rite that is ok even when we are on Induction that is Weight Watchers soda. I saw diet blackcherry (which is my favorite) and went over to read the label and to my surprise it was made with splenda. Yea!! I drink a good combination of things throughout the day, mostly water, but it's good to know there is soda we can drink out there.

Have a great LCing Day!
Kathy

Yep, that's all I drink for soda! I have 1 or 2 a day! I don't know if they sell it nationwide or not, but they do have it here in New England.

Oh I found their website for all who want to see if you can get it in your area!! http://www.waist-watcher.com

Best tasting diet soda I ever had.

I really like the Hansen's. But all you coke and pepsi fans are probably really happy today with the anouncment that they are going to do a low carb version made with splenda!! I hope they try it with their other flavors of soda also!

Darn. None of them are in Canada at all and that black cherry sounded good too.

I read on FoxNews.com yesterday that the Pepsi and Coke LC versions are only going to have half HALF the carbs as the original... if that is correct, that doesn't sound very low carb to me.

Me either. They are calling it Pepsi Edge. Why bother. Diet Pepsi is already a low carb soft drink and if they would switch to splenda instead of aspartame it would be so much better.

They need some low carbers in thier planning departments to get things right.

WOW!!! I didn't know that! You are right! Still too many carbs. I'll stick with my Hansen's Tangerine Lime!

Thanks for the waist watcher website. I will keep an eye open looking for it in my area. Sounds interesting -- may have to order some online.

We have Dollar Gens. all around here, I'm going to have to check that out. Also I drink Diet Big Red, by the Diet Rite company. It is fruit punch flavored.

Hmmm, is Diet Big Red made with splenda?
Are the Big Red and Weight watcher's soda's made sodium free too?
I like Hansen's Diet Creamy Rootbeer, made with splenda and no sodium. Of course, Tangerine lime is a favorite around here too.

Hey...lets all form a group and E-Mail Coke and Pepsi to use Splenda instead of the junkie stuff they use in the diet drinks...
