Default For all the Low Carb/High Fat Critics

In 2012 I weighed 230 lbs, had super high cholesterol, glucose, low vitamin D and potassium. I was diagnosed with PCOS and only got my period a few times a year. Looking back I also suffered from depression.

As of today I weight 193 - 37 lbs on my way to my weight loss goal. Just got back from the doctor. My triglycerides went from 280 to 113. My total cholesterol went from 216 to 201. Glucose went down to 98 and potassium and Vitamin D went to normal levels. I've never felt happier or just overall better.

The 2 assistants in the doctors office called me an inspiration. Imagine that...me... A weight loss/health inspiration!!!!

I credit a lot to these forums. Without you guys I'd never have been able to do this! Thank you!!!!

Congratulations! Wow! You really are inspiring! Can I bother you to post your vitamin D intake/regimin? Curious how much you took and for how long to achieve normal levels.

I was taking 2000 iu along with chelated magnesium 800 mg when I first started LC and only for about a month. I stopped about 2 months ago because something started keeping me up at night. I really haven't supplemented at all in the past 2 months. I wonder if my body is just processing things correctly now.
