My current thoughts on bread type substitutes = eliminate. Too strong a link to past abuses for me. Finding alternate path to liberation.

I wish you well Mrs. K - good to see you are back. Stick around.

I have to agree with thud. I have been trying to get my wife to lay off the wanna be fake LC breads and other stuff. I have given up many things, bread, sugar, and many other things.

When I first started low-carb, (Protein Power) the best bread I found was 6 net carbs from Aunt Millie. So I say, if it keeps you on track and doesn't cause you cravings- go for it! Now that being said, what do you need bread for anyway?

I find that bread is best for soaking up egg yolks (I like over-easy eggs). Now I sometimes use sausage patties for under my eggs. I could never have a sandwich, because I only allowed myself one slice of bread.
