Smile Gobble Gobble Dinner

Well, I'll be in Germany for Thanksgiving to visit friends we've made while being stationed in Washington. And she is making sure to make us a meal that is going to suit me for my Induction period.

She'll make;

Turkey (of course)
Broccoli with cheese
Green bean casserole too
(so I have a choice)
I'm bringing the Avocado

and for dessert LC cheesecake

It's not much, but since I can have all the Turkey i want then I'll be stuffed. No pun intended. LOL

Lily

The men and children get a regular meal of course cause they aren't dieting.

My Menu is going to be
Turkey (found a recipe where you use bacon to keep it moist)
Mushroom stuffing (from our Furum)
Pumpkin nut bake (From Atkin sweb site
Cranberry raspberry sauce (also from Atkins)
MiniCarb LC biscuits
Giblet Gravey (Xanthum Gum thickner)
Apple Pie (MiniCarb Pie crust and Lucky Leaf Sugar free filling)

There is enough pie crust mix to make 3 crusts though. So now the debate is traditional pumpkin, or soemthing along the lines of a peanut butter french silk pie

Hi,
So glad to see other will be sticking it out too. Will have;

Turkey with gravy, just well reduced

Cauliflower cooked with butter,onions, cream & chz. Will put in oven to bake with ground up pork rine topping(optional)

Atkins friendly salad(lettuce,olive mix,a few artichokes,ham,chz,oil,vinegar,ranch dressing)

**NEED THE CHZ CAKE RECIPE**

Will also make/revise a dessert my GM used to make. It's made with jello, cream chz, cool whip and crushed pineapple. I'm thinking of sugar free jello, have the cream chz, not sure if can have the cool whip or pineapple> PLEASE ADVISE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You poor this all into a mold and refrigerate over night. comes out in 3 different consistancy rings. 1 clear jello,the other more creamy thena 3rd creamier.
