Before joining this thread, please take as much time as needed. Formulate and communicate your habit you are working on, keep it brief. It may be helpful to restate it each time you post or periodically so others understand what you are working on. Others are here to help you and you to help them. We are in this together. We are a team.

The point of the work shop is to grow your mind, not necessarily shrink your body.

If you complete 90 days, PM me and I'll send you an official email of completion, INCLUDING YOUR NAME ON IT!!!...FROM ME!!!

PS. I am open to revisions or clarification to the above. Another set of eyes and minds may see something and add or remove something important...

Part 2 is found here.

Here is a handy calculator to figure out the end date of your 90 days.

Thanks for joining us. Wishing you the best of health!

Ken: Great job finishing your 90 days, hope to see you again in a couple days.

Kristine: Thanks for starting the new thread.

I haven't been here that long, but I agree there is a certain amount of accountability and support, even if we don't "chat" much. I appreciate you all and you inspire me.

1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead. I am kind of living on pork rinds and Atkins candy with no oven or microwave. I have stuff now, went shopping with no propane in mind. On the mental list: Subway fav sandwich... not much else. Am allowing a drink tonight for Cinco de Mayo.

Kristine: Thank you. It hasn't been too much fun with no hot water, I'll take a few things with me to really clean up good at lunch at work tomorrow until things get rollin' here. I did discover a toaster oven that works, so I changed my grocery list and am working around that. Yes, the hot water heater, stove/oven and dryer are all propane -run here. I didn't know either til I rented here. Never dealt with it before. I have to call the new company tomorrow to tell them the old tank is gone.

Here are my tweaks for this 90-day period. It turned into a novel, so I just put it in my journal. The tl;dr on my plan to address inflammation is daily vitamin D (or sun exposure), fish oil, turmeric, and no seed oils. To support my shoulder in general, as well as my back and hands which flare up when I'm not careful - glucosamine/chondroitin and daily broth (for the collagen.) Also added in my physio exercises, since I'm good at forgetting or procrastinating on that kind of thing.

-----

May 5 - Aug 3 * Day 1

Healthy Habits: Weigh-in, activity, shoulder physio exercises, supplements, decent sleep, food tracking, water, broth
8/8: 0
7/8: 1 - forgot about having broth.
6/7: 0

Eating:
Gold days: 1
Green days: 0
Yellow days: 0
Red days: 0

Cab Fare Saved: $0

I forgot to say *WOO HOO a new thread!!!*

1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead. Got thru another day. Landlord rehooked up the small tank so I have some hot water and the stove works. Trying to navigate propane company world. Stressful. Misleading. Need to talk to 2 more companies and get something going here. On the notepad: candy bar my mom wanted me to get rid of, fav fast food places, local custard stand, Starbucks new drinks, good looking food in cookbooks I am handling at work.

1. No cheats - on plan food only. To aid with this I am taking a small notepad with me and when I see something I think I will throw in my mouth I am going to write it down instead. Did well. I didn't even eat lunch today - just wasn't hungry - worked both jobs. On the notepad: cookie pack my mom had given me to get rid of. That was it.
