Default A good drink if you have HBP, and it is low carb.

This isn't awesome, but I made this up one day while seeing what I had in my cabinets, and it is a nice change of pace.

1. Take a full small pot of water and boil the water with 1/4 stick of cinnamon. The cinnamon is what is good for HBP.

2. Let it boil 2 minutes then shut the burner off. Add Splenda to taste. I use 3 pkts.

3. After it cools, you can add the flavored water to a glass with ice, removing the cinnamon.

4. Add a drop or two of apple flavoring..... like extract.

5. Add 1-2 TBS heavy cream and stir.

Sort of like apple pie in a drink
. Sometimes I even add protein powder before the water cools too much.

Also, the cinnamon can be used about 5x before discarding.
