Default Andy Griffith last night...

Last night on Andy Griffith, Aunt Bea asked Barney if he wanted some apple pie. He told her he was watching his "carbohydrates and glucose" this week. I almost died laughing!!!

Paleo, the name of the episode was Opie and His Merry Men, or something like that. Maybe you could find it somewhere on line?
I too, thought it was hysterical. I find most things Barney says a riot anyway. (I'm easily amused LOL)

History repeats itself. This WOL was followed back then, probably under a different name. HA! I love it! Vonnie

Yes it was followed! When I was in high school (1977) I worked at a Steak n Shake restaurant in Indy. The "diet plate" was a hamburger w/no bun and cottage cheese. I forget the rest, but I think it was some lettuce and a tomato.
