Default Midsummer Madness Fitness Challenge

As some of you know, Linda unfortunately had to bow out of hosting this next challenge. Many thanks to her for the inspriation to move on.

The frightening result of this is that I guess I'm volunteering to jump on in and take over. Please don't run screaming into the night...lol.

This challenge will have the same goal as Mischa's did. For each of us to choose the best fitness program for US, and stick to it for 3 months, and compare results at the end. For those of you that are allergic to exercise, don't run off. It can be as simple as upping a 15 minute stroll to a half hour. Or for that matter.....going from nothing...to that 15 minutes. Others will likely do BFL, or hit the gym with force. The point is that you are looking for individual and "YOU" oriented exercise.

Those of you that were not participants in the previous challenge, I will be trying to get posted on this thread the results of the last one. It's phenomenal how well so many have done. Wonderful inspiration.

Due to this being a last minute thing...I think we should start on July 20 and run to October 20. That will give everyone time to get stats and pics in this week. ( and for me to recruit someone more puter savvy than I to do links etc. when we have a complete list!!! )

Soooooo....with no further ado, please post your pics, front side and back view, as well as starting weight, and current measurements as follows:

Wrist
Bicep
Bust at nipple line
Under bust
Natural waist ( smallest place )
Belly at button
Belly 3" below
Thigh measured 3" from groin
Calf

Please try to have this info...and pics, posted on this site by the 20th.

Last run was awesome.....and tons of fun. Let's try to inspire each other again to push on!!!!!!!

Okay, count me in! I had Scott take pictures of me with the regular camera for this challenge which I'll take in to Costco today to get developed. He took the pictures the same day he took my ending ones for the last challenge but these will turn out much better (I hope) and I'm actually wearing a sports bra instead of a tank top. Wish I had done that the first time so that it would be easier to see the differences. Oh well, chalk that one up to embarrasment. I'll post my measurements and goals when I post my pics, that way they'll be in the same post.

Wooo Hooo.....

Welcome everyone....new faces and old. I managed to post my pics too...all by myself without having to run to Mischa!!!!!

Anyone who would like to share what their intended program is, please do so. I think it would give everyone, especially the new faces, an idea of how diverse the choices are....and that no one feel intimidated by not having "Arnie" like goals....lol.

Myself, I LOVE my WAP tapes, and am getting back on the bandwagon as of TODAY!!!! I intend to do some outside walking too, as I live by the lake and have a wonderful route. Sometimes that is hard though, timewise, so the WAP tapes are perfect. Gotta get into the pool some too!

My goal is 5 days a week at the LEAST with some form of vigorous activity.

Cool

Okay, I'm in, what the heck. Maybe this will convince me to really start the weights and cardio again.

I don't think any of my stats have changed since my last post in my journal, as well as starting pics.

I'm thinking I'll just try a basic weight routine, focus on upper body, and brief cardio similar to BFL. Less regimented which I feel more comfortable with right now.

Talking Woo Hoo!

Count me in too! I had to kind of bow out of the last one b/c I was under the influence of anti-depressant medication I was unable to lose anything on that damn stuff no matter how much I worked out, and I was ALWAYS hungry (and gained 10 lbs GRR!!) So I'm back at it now and MED FREE!! I'm going to try induction again now that my appetite is back to normal. I do cardio every other day and weights about 3-4 days a week also. Here are my measurements as of today...
I had pics taken of me a while back that I posted on the last challenge...I'll try to find them (mischa do you have that still or know how to get it?)

Wrist~ 6 in
Bicep~ 11 in
Bust at nipple line~ 36 in
Under bust~ 31 in
Natural waist ( smallest place )~ 27.5 in
Belly at button~ 30.5 in
Belly 3" below~ 34.5 in
Thigh measured 3" from groin~ 23 in
Calf~ 13.5 in

I did my hour long Firm Cardio sculpt today and have done really well with my food. Eggs w/cheese and tomato and 2 sausages, lunch is tuna salad with LC bread sliced very thinly (about 3 or 4 carbs), and a bit of lettuce for the "crunch factor"
Good luck to everyone!

Default I want in

I'm going to Key West in October and this is just what I need!

I'll get stats tonight and get DH to take pics.

I've been reading BFL... not sure what I'll do... I've been doing weight training heavily 3 days a week... may add in something on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
