Since I posted a year ago I've tried other Killer Creamery flavors. I also found out that if I ask my husband to pick up one for me, I have to call it Keto & the flavor - Killer Creamery is in such small letters he misses it.

Anyway - besides the mint I've now tried the chocolate brownie bites (chocolate is delicious but brownie bites are weird - fortunately not too many in the ice cream) & vanilla. I meant to try the caramel last time but accidentality picked up the chocolate. I think I could get used to the brownie bites. It's pricey tho - wish it were on sale more often. The vanilla is lovely.

I've noticed it's very filling. If I eat more than a third as a serving, I feel overstuffed.

No Killer creamery products available at three groceries in my area. Wish it was. Always willing to try new ice cream flavors!

These days it's Rebel for me.

Rebel is the only high fat, low carb diet ice cream that fits my needs. I look forward to one pint a week. Purchased everyThursday, eat until satisfied, put into freezer until I want the remaining portion.

Funny how consuming a whole pint is not a thing anymore. Eating 3/4 works as well. Leaving the last 1/2 cup to enjoy later.

Triple Chocolate is working for me. I'm afraid to go back to the mint and the carmel as eating the whole pint is more typical.

And I'd like to try Rebel - it's not available here. But from what people have said about it, I think they're pretty similar.

Enlightened has come to this area, and I like it as good or better than Rebel (depending on the flavor).

You have to be sure to get Enlightened with KETO on the lid, as they make non-keto ice cream too.

Their Butter Pecan is much better than the Rebel brand, and Rebel B-P is very good (for keto ice cream).

Bought my weekly Rebel.

Triple chocolate.
I forgot it and when I remembered it was likely a chocolate syrup. Much to my surprise it melted into a chocolate mousse!!!

Frozen even after the suggested 15 mn to defrost a bit, it's rock hard and a bit chalky, not at all creamy.

I buy Rebel cause it's the best so far for my tastes. But as a cold mousse it's fantastic !!

PS. Comparing labels, Hagen Das is over 1200 calories per carton, and Rebel runs much lower, about 500, maybe a bit more depending on flavor.

Half the calories, wow.

I nuke it for 15 seconds and test it. Just depends on how strong your microwave is. I like the Enlightened variety too.

I like the one that Aldi sells called Sundae Shoppe. Rebel makes me feel like I've just had a hit of actual sugar though I have not actually tested my blood sugar.

https://hip2keto.com/sundae-shoppe-keto-ice-cream-aldi/

They have another one now that is "high protein" but it's "light" so the texture is more like I remember ice milk being and the vanilla is pretty bland.

https://www.aldi.us/en/products/fro...e-mint-chip-or/

Chocolate must have been sold out where I shopped as I didn't see it. Maybe it's better.

Walmart started carrying Rebel ice cream sandwiches. They may look small (three to a box) but they fill you up. Not the soft rectangle i.c.s. you may be used to - there's an actual crunch when biting into one.

Omg..... Will look for the sandwiches! I've been dazzled by the wide selection of Rebel at WM, esp as it's a new line on their shelves. ( I've been buying at 3 other stores where prices vary by over a dollar a pint!!)

Here is a review put out by Thomas DeLauer.
