Default dr's appointment on tuesday

I started the meat & egg fast again today, I'd done it previously for 3 days about 2 months ago, but now I'm wondering if maybe I shouldnt...I'd planned on doing a 5 day'er,(2 month...no loss, at 20 g. of carbs) but I have my doctors appointment on Tuesday at 1pm...I'm wondering if it would mess with tests? In particular thyroid testing.

Hmm... probably doctors would say it doesn't interfere with the test but some of us dieters think that extreme dieting might lower thyroid output.

yes, it will - it will lower your TSH and your FT3. If they don't check your FT3 then the doc will think you're just fine and dandy. Extreme low carbs is BAD for thyroid - meat and egg fasts are a really bad idea.
