Default fearful of the loss or lack there of

[COLOR=red]My concern is that I will not continue to loose. It is that stinking thinking that comes from years of failure. I feel good and sometimes that is a red flag for me. Eating all the things that have always been a "no NO" ...

I rally enjoy the food plan and I know I can be creative and have this as a life time way of life... just a little fearful... That I'll fail again. and the fear of no Spellchecker......

Hi Ellen,
My mom always said "worrying was a waste of time". I only now understand what she meant. And I've given up on worrying. Maybe it will turn out well for you. Maybe it won't be brilliantly quick and easy, but maybe, slowly, it'll all work out. If you worry too much about the downside you'll lose motivation. So keep going, and know that no matter how many times you've begun, you can always begin again, stronger and better. It does get easier. Someone told me that last week on this forum. So, there you go, I'm passing on what was given to me when I felt discouraged about my 2 cheats in a week. I got back in the saddle. And things are much better today.

Hope it all works out,

Ruby

'Ya know Ellen, if you really think about this statement from the best part of yourself - don't let stinkin' thinkin' interfere with this - what did eating all the former "yes yes" foods do for you?

If you have decided to do this:

have this as a life time way of life

You won't be fearful of this:

My concern is that I will not continue to loose.

Focus on the way of life, and all the benefits will come with it. Sometimes we have to fiddle and tweak. Sometimes we plateau to allow our bodies and minds to take a breather and regroup. It all fits into creating a new way of life. Set your goal as being "new" instead of losing weight and you'll have nothing to fear.

There is a spell checker if you scroll a little further down when you're posting, but is seems to be out of order at the moment.

For spell checking, you can always use a Word Document to type in and copy and paste into post reply.
