Default Yummy Cookie Dough! Only 2 carbs!

So here's the story first-

I have been like a mad scientist trying to get an edible cookie dough recipe. I have tried all the cookie recipes, and none of them fit the bill of chocolate chip cookie dough to me. Kristine had the bright idea of adding peanut butter, which led me to this recipe. I had bought some soy butter that was gross on it's own so I decided to play around with it instead of throw it away. It had this gritty texture that I was looking for in real cookie dough. Anyway this recipe is far from perfected but I thought I would post it and if I make any adjustments, or if yall can find some adjustments that would be great too.

This is just a small serving, since it's just a snack and not meant to be baked. It is almost like a pudding consistency, but tastes like cookie dough to me!

2T Unsalted Soy Butter (I used IM, could possibly use PB, haven't tried it yet)
1T SF Vanilla Syrup (Torani, but I suppose you could sub vanilla extract)
1t SF Maple syrup (I used atkins)
Butter flavoring to taste (I used butter spray, could probably use 1T butter)
1T Cream Cheese
1t Splenda
1t Baking Soda
1T Vanilla Whey

Optional (I didn't use)
1T SF Choco chips

I made it in a coffee mug, fun to eat out of.

Combine cream cheese and soy butter (and butter if you choose to use it) in a coffee mug. Heat in microwave 20 seconds to soften. Stir contents until creamy. Mix in syrups, splenda, spray butter (3 or 4 squirts) then add Vanilla whey and baking soda and choco chips should you want to use them. Yummy yummy in my tummy. Recipe can be doubled, quadrupled, etc.

Just tried it with PB, tasted much more peanut buttery. More like PB cookies, still good though. I am curious how almond butter would taste! That's my next experiment.

I was browsing through the dessert recipes, and I had to laugh because this is almost the exact recipe for my 6yo dd's "protein snack". We use p.b or cashew butter, and to make it chocolate she likes chocolate whey protein powder and lite chocolate syrup. Sometimes she eats this for breakfast!

OK, this is now one of my favorite snacks! I use cookie dough flavored syrup - I don't measure it. I have also tried it it with cottage cheese to make it a breakfast. Thanks for the yummy recipe!

I made this with almond butter and DaVinci's gingerbread syrup.
