Question The best air fryer? Needed for Mom's Christmas gift.

Hello everyone!

I have to do nearly all of my shopping online because I cannot drive. I'm legally blind, my whole life. I LOVE to shop online! It's so wonderful for me.

So I need your help. Mom wants an air fryer. (She's not on any kind of diet). She's just been wanting one because the thought of deep frying in oil turns her off in the tummy and when it comes to cleaning up all of that grease splatter. Especially if *I* fry something--- I cannot see the mess I make, LOL!

So what is the best one to get? She has mentioned one she's seen on FB, (I curse FB!) and it's some kind of air fryer AND convection oven combined. Which would be great. I see Cuisinart does have a fryer/over/dehydrator model all in one..... But I don't know about the stats-- you know, how many watts we'll need to get a great model. She's read that the lower wattage models don't work, and also something about the 'basket' having too small of holes. Apparently it gets gunked up easily? Also, she's read that sometimes the teflon coating comes off....

So any advice for me? Tomorrow is Black Friday and I'd love to be able to save a little bit of money if I can. Thanks for your help!
