Thanks Gwen. I will remember to stretch before and after. I did pilates tonight so hopefully that will help. I think it won't rain until mid morning so I might get up early and run before work so I can do it outside. Ulp - that means I have to get up extra early. I must really be crazy!~

You must really want to do this!! That's terrific! The stretching and pilates is definitely a really positive thing and I'm sure will help you on your runs!

Hope you had a great run this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did Week 4 Day 1!! Can't believe I completed it. For real I didn't think I would be able to do it..and when that 2nd 5min run came up I was really doubting myself...But I did it..No stopping and was SOOOOOO proud of myself afterwards. Can't believe I ran a total of 16 min today..a couple weeks ago I would have thought that was IMPOSSIBLE!!

I'm really finding that majority of the battle is in my head..The more I focus on stopping the negative talk the better I'm able to handle the run intervals. That and focusing on my form and telling myself to SLOW DOWN! Think I might need to change some of my music that's a little too fast..makes it harder to slow down my run.

Have a great Wednesday everyone!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone. Congratulations Gwen on week 4 - that's awesome. 5 minutes sounds almost impossible to me at this point. I hope I can get to where you are.

I completed W1D2 this morning - no stopping. I was still sore from my first run on Monday but it was easier this time - possibly because I did it first thing in the morning and not after a long day at work??? Still coughing up a lung with a bad cold so I am sure that is not helping.

Have a great week all.

Hey I would like to jump in.
I am on week 3 day 2 completed ready for day 3 tomorrow.
As you can see in my Signature, I have been doing some weeks more than once because I wasn't feeling comfy moving on to the next week. But I know I will be moving into week 4 on Monday!
