I think it would be more helpful to post *exactly* what you ate for a few days. It could be anything that your baby is sensitive too, not just dairy. It could be the nitrates in the lunch meat. Are you using artificial sweeteners? Are you eating gaseous veggies like broccoli or cabbage? You'll have to play around with your diet. Eliminate a food for a couple days to see if there is any improvement. I don't think LC itself is the issue.
I am finding my LO to be the opposite, she is less gassy since LC. I also find that not many things bother her unless it is a large portion of a gassy food. Like, onion, peppers, garlic, chocolate, etc.
In the past, I've noticed fussiness if I accidentally get into ketosis. I'm not sure that I would stay at induction-level carbs while nursing. You should be able to take off the weight quickly w/o ketosis.
I'm going to watch out for this. I'm going to try induction for two weeks and I'm BFing my almost 7 week old. He hasn't seem bothered by anything in my normal diet, but we'll see how induction goes.
Let me know how it goes.. I personally think that ketosis is a natural state that many women throughout time have been in when they're nursing, so I'm not sure why it has bothered my babies.
