Hi!I see ther have been no new threads latley so here goes. I think sometimes we hope for a miracle in weight loss. I know I would like to wake up one morning after dieting for about a week and be THIN!!!Guess it won't happen. It took years to get into this condition, so I should remember it will also come off slowly. All of you are working so hard at it and so supportive, it is encouraging to read.I try to read this thread first , but usually have to go to main board. Come on! Let's do more posting here!!! Harvest is fast approaching (yes, I farm) so time will be short, and meals difficult. And ,Yes, though I won't be able to read or post often I will imagin you people who also have big losses to make and think if they can I can keep trying too.
Have a good one!

Yeah to farmers! Good for you!!

I grew up on a farm, and I know that is where my carb addiction came from. My mother can cook & bake like it is nobody's business. All meals have lots of starch and end in a big dessert. My husband & I were on a low carb diet, and did very well until I became pregnant, and I needed to go off. Well, he rejoined me in the pasta & bread brigade. I finally have my six month old weaned from breastfeeding, and we are ready to take another stab at it again.

And yes, we both have 80 - 100 lbs. to lose! We don't want to pass our carb addictions to our son.

Take care, and good luck!
