Does anyone have the Meatloaf recipe from the earlier Atkins book--It included 3 types of groud meat and chili powder - I would rally appreciate it

I am kind of new to this group and would like to report that I have lost 12 lbs in my first week of Induction

Thumbs up

Kathy,

Congrats on the great weight loss! Here's the recipe:

Meat Loaf a la Dr. A

3 pounds mixed chopped meat (lamb, veal, beef, pork)
2 T chili powder
3 eggs
3 cloves garlic, mashed
3 T cilantro or Italian flat leaf parsley
6 ounces sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
2 T Worcestershire sauce
salt to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
In a large bowl, thoroughly mix all ingredients. Place meat into oiled loaf pan and bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
