Good Morning!

The dang cat got me up before 4 o'clock. She jumped down off the bed at 3 and I was hopeful that she would come downstairs and leave me alone. HA! It's gonna be a long day.

I'll be heading to the golf course at 7:30 for the tournament. It's only in the 50's and will be cloudy all day. Not ideal, but better than pouring rain. They say it might get up to the 70's, but I'm doubtful. I hope the course isn't too soggy after yesterday's rain. There are 152 golfers in this tournament....that's a LOT. It could be mayhem!

Trig....Oh boy....here comes DD for the summer! It's going to be different for you, for sure. I hope her finals go well.

Jaz....I hope you had a good weekend and did some good thinking about your next steps. I have no doubt that you will land on your feet.

Well, I have to figure out what to have for breakfast. I need some good protein this morning. They will have donuts and other crap before the tournament, but I'm not going to eat that stuff. We'll have a big lunch after we play, but that won't be until 2 this afternoon. Yeah......LONG day. Let's go!

It looks like this is a busy week on tap for us all!

Nic- Yay on getting back to DE. I know you have been itching to get to your nest! Who all is coming on Thursday? Cool you can go ahead of time and prep, get food, and the house set up and all!

I never thought of an Armadillo in terms of batten down the hatches! I like it, very appropriate. I can relate to that at times. Yup- like it. Do you have another spirit animal? LOL

Trig- You up in Sylva? I swear I was all over that tiny town and didn't see a collage! It isn't all that big! Super cool though I have now been there and know about it. LOL. Yup I bet the camping there is just STELLAR!!!!!! Beautiful country for sure. Not far from Ashville either!

So kiddo home for the summer. WOW where did the year go? I swear, we blink and another year down! kinda scary!

Lori- I beat you up at 3 am and never went back to sleep! OMG it is not natural to get up that early! I don't even have a kitty! Oh, the adventures of Gabby! Was she prowling? What does she DO outside??????

It was rough getting up at 3 to pee than I couldn't go back to sleep. My mind woke up and it was over! I finally got up at 5 am after tossing and turning.

No nap for me. I am expected to get my files updated and all these report done before I leave. Thats fine. I am not going to be traveling as much I can tell you that! They have me going to Columbia one more time. I may or may not do that! Depends.

The thing that kept me up tossing and turning is not the job situation. It is the impending Root Canel that is going to happen this week. It makes me weak in the knees. I have a horrible fear of dentists! I literally shake in the chair- it is awful! There is not enough meds to help trust me!

I guess it goes back to my early experiences with a dentist. He had Parkinsons- and dropped an instrument down my through. Then I had a failure Root Canel X3. Said I would NEVER have another one. Well fast forward 20 years and here I am. OMG- anything but that! I would rather give birth than sit in a dentist chair. I just need to pull up the big girl britches and JUST DO IT!
I might do a shot of whiskey right before I walk in. Yeah......
Enough of that..........

My notebook is growing with ideas, and places to look, things to do, and cool stuff for the NEXT. I have some stuff to follow up on.

WOE- This week is a reboot- and clean it up week. I have gotten "sloppy" over the weekend with my eating. Time to reel it in.
Eats- Beef patties today as many as I want. Beef and salt. PERIOD! RESET.

Well got to "plug in"- on the clock now for sure!

Hey all-

I'm in DE! DH punted me out yesterday, to his credit. I was shifting into meltdown mode, he is working like crazy prepping for a trial. I felt guilty leaving DD29 but bebe is almost three weeks and I have been there pretty much daily. She, bebe and SoIL will all be here in DE on Thursday so it's a little test time for them, I guess.

Got here yesterday around 7 PM- visited my Mom and KBE first. Ended up sending KB out as I got bebe to fall asleep so that was nice.

Lori- enjoy golfing today!
Jaz- big hugs to you over the root canal. Given that background I would be worried too. Can you get a script for a Xanax or something, just one?
Trig- can't believe summer break is already about to begin. I hope it goes well for you all. You will figure it out! Does DD have her PT job on lock yet?

Just going to chill today- I'm on the porch, feet up, and relaxing. May go sit at the beach for a bit- not in a swimsuit but just hang out and listen to the waves. god I've missed it here!
