Default Totally Cool Day

A totallly cool day today. The looks on their faces when they saw me at the company luncheon today was just priceless as they haven't seen me since March 2010 since I work from home.

Some chose to compliment me, some to make snide remarks (one lady actually said "look gail I can eat butter." I laughed inside as I said to myself "yeah I can have butter too." Some chose to totally ignore me while others didn't even recognize who I was.

Yeah. Today was totally cool. I've never felt so beautiful.

It wasn't that she didn't notice as the first thing she said to me when she entered the restaurant was "oh! somebodys been losing weight."

I think some people are just in shock and just don't know how to respond and/or they just wanna be mean or maybe they just don't know what to say. She followed up the being able to eat butter remark with "oh! now don't you get to skinny on us." That was defenitely delivered with a "mean context" to it, but oh well, que sera sera.

She wasn't the first one in the past month to give me a wierd remark, but the majority of it is positive compliments which is cool and I am still on top of the world.

I have noticed that there are 4 groups of people:

1. Those who just want to ignor your success.
2. Those that are angry that you are doing what they aren't! They constantly make snide remarks. For me, one even started a rumor that I was really loosing weight because I have cancer!
3. Those that are smug because they believe you can't maintain it and set out to derail you. (I like to tell them of my weight loss philosophy: someone has to gain weight so I can loose it and ask them to eat more!)
4. Your greatest supporters.

I love playing with the brain of those in catagores 1 - 3 and hold close to my greatest supporters!

2007 - you are a very beautiful woman and I can tell you are highly intelligent. This is your time, this is your moment, this is you reclaiming your life. I am so very proud of you! Keep up the great work!
