Size 6 pants, now loose!
Today I zipped up my size 6 pants and realized that they're loose! I started at a size 12, 44 pounds ago. I have no intention of being a size zero but I'm happy I'm to be here--diabetes free, lifting weights 4-5 times a week and feeling great.
Rock on!!!! That must feel incredible. I haven't worn a size 6 since I was 19.....and slim (though I didn't think it then). I worked my way through University by serving in a restaurant earlier in the evenings and a nightclub late into the night. That worked out to 12-16 hours on my feet 6 days per week. Plus school. But I ate whatever I wanted....which was crap.
Now the idea of getting to a size 6 again is made better by the knowledge that I'll be properly nourished. And more rested!
Congrats on the down-size But I'll celebrate your diabetes-less-ness EVEN MORE!!!!!

Isn't it amazing when your clothes no longer fit? I have yet to experience that this go-round (only 11 lbs so far) but years ago I did. Love that feeling of being a *lot* slimmer!

Hello MPrufrock!!
Huge congrats on your new pants size... I know what you're going thru! And huge congrats on your weight loss to date!
I went from a size 26 to a size 1 after losing 151 lbs. (There's a pic in my gallery of me in my old size 26 jeans). They now hang in my closet front and center so that I see them every morning as a memorial to all the weight loss & my inspiration to continue on this wondrous journey!
Onward, ↓ DOWNWARD & MAINTENANCE 4ever!
