Unhappy Help, left over roast beef.

Ok, I've had a total flop, now I have dry roast beef. I've cut some up and cooked it with some butter, green onion and sour cream, but what else can I do. In need of a quick solution to do with the left overs.

Hmmmm, lets see...I like your idea. You can chop it up thin and mix with a low carb BBQ sauce, chop it into a low carb veggy soup, minced with mayo and rolled in lettuce leaves or cheese. Very, very thin slices on a salad with lots of low or no carb dressing (I love Blue Cheese).

You could always freeze it untill you come up with other ideas.
Good Luck

Talking Thanks

I ended up cutting it thinly and making some gravy for it and serving it to the rest of the family. Next time I will try the soup idea though. Thanks again.

Cool

I would slice thin, boil in beef broth with onions for 1-2 hours and make beef stroganoff. We just had this last night - awesome! (I used left-over steak that had been grilled.)

Talking Thanks for the idea

Sounds like a great idea.
So you have left over steak? Didn't think there was such a thing , just kidding, I take my left over steak and fry it up with green onions and lots of butter then have it with eggs for breakfast. Got to just love this way of eating.
Thanks again.

The next time you have a total flop? Now that's hardly positive thinking, Jo-Ann!
