Default Countdown to 299

Going for the BIG (well, A big) milestone now - getting out of the 3xx pound range and into the 2xx range.

My goal is to do it by Labor Day. That'll be iffy, but if I don't make it - so what? I'll get there eventually.

My last 25 pounds took 12.5 weeks to achieve. So if this one takes the same amount of time it would put me at this goal by 08 Sep 02 which is about a week after Labor Day - you wouldn't her me crying over that.

Perhaps, if I start walking regularly, I can do better on this 25 than I did on the last 25. But my problems with my right foot continue to plague me.

Got down to 323 today. Hopefully I can hold that until tomorrow's official weigh-in.

My foot is almost back to normal. I don't know if I want to risk going out for a walk tonight or not. I probably should, because then if it starts really hurting in the next couple days at least I will know that it is the walking that is causing the flare-ups and I can deal with it accordingly.

I read some of your journal (it's quite a long read!) and been watching your progress since I started in April, I remember your last picture you had up before, thought I'd pop in to say you look fabulous and good luck on your labor day goal!

Thanks a lot, DarkLotus.

If you want a long but interesting read, check out Nat's or Doreen's journal. Marlaine is another good one.

Wasn't able to hold on to the 323, but was able to stay below 325 which makes it my first official weigh-in below that mark. That feels good.

I finally get to revive this thread!

I first hit 325 back on 13 June and so in the last three months and change I have made zero net progress. But that's after having lost over 50 pounds! Usually, if I got anywhere near this much headway and I fell off the wagon it was a one-way ticket to all the weight back plus another ten for good measure. This time I went up 20 and got back on the wagon and have lost 15 of it so far. I'm really stoked about that.

So do I have a target date for hitting 299? Yeah - by the end of the year. There are still 15 weeks left in the year so just 2 pounds per week would put me under 300 before Christmas. That would be really nice and I think achievable - IF I stay on the wagon.

It's right at ten weeks till Thanksgiving and that would be 2.5 pounds per week which is right at what I was averaging before I fell off - so that may be doable as well.

We'll just see.
