Speaking as a normally small-busted woman myself, I understand exactly where you're coming from. Since I've been obese is the first time in my life I've had unassisted cleavage! (god bless decolletee ..
) I've gained and lost significant amounts of weight over my lifetime, though never before as much as I'm in the process of losing now, and yes, hate to break it to you, but the breasts do get smaller too.
Will they disappear completely?? No, of course not. The breast is made up of glandular tissue which is surrounded and supported by fat and connective tissue. So even though the fat cells will shrink, the gland itself will not. Pregnancy and breastfeeding will alter the glandular tissue more than anything, and aging has the greatest influence on the connective tissue supporting the breast structure.
The only ways to increase the size of the breast is a) surgical augmentation, ie. implants; b) weight gain; and c) pregnancy. However, there is a lot of evidence supporting the use of specific weight-lifting and resistance exercises that target the pectoral and intercostal muscles of the chest and chest wall. The exercises do not increase the breast size, but help to develop and define the underlying chest shape.
Are you an A-frame pear like me?? Smaller bust / larger hip figure-type is less likely to suffer heart disease and cholesterol problems.
As you lose weight, your body will assume the shape it's meant to have in order to be healthy. Exercise will help to define your basic shape to KEEP you healthy. That's what's really important
