Default Fried Cheese or Bacon Taco Shells

I have not tried this but what a good idea!

http://thehungrydudes.com/bacon-and-fried-cheese-tacos Sorry, couldn't capture the picture. They've disabled it.

Here's a cheese one from another site http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.a...281474976882494 - from 2005, saying it was an 'old' LC trick (I've never heard of it - my apologies if everyone is already doing this!)

Here's a picture from another site of the bacon one:

LOL! I too do the cheese shells alot. I actually like the cheese shells as a tostada or flat shell. I think they are more robust and don't break as much.

But hold me! I would not ever think to use bacon! LOL. Delicious!

I do the cheese one all the time, I buy the sliced provolone (its already round and an even thickness) and just microwave it on a piece of parchment paper for a minute. The bacon does look good!!
