It will be a while before I even think about IF. I just don't do well.

As for yesterday I did very well. It was nice honestly, to be on a "new" plan, yet know that I am not going to balloon up. And, believe it or not, I was actually down 2 pounds this morning. THAT was a nice surprise! The one thing that I found to be odd from my "normal" self, is that I was a bit hungier yesterday ~ and that was nice to feel. I mean, I don't want to be hungry, it just felt like things were being revved up. Maybe that is just mental for me, but whatever it was ~ it was nice!

Sheila - consider the IF for two days per week if you have switched back to Atkins. You said in your post that "you didn't consume enough calories when you ate in one setting" on IF....and I want to tell you, that is precisely what is supposed to happen my dear! That is how it works! You don't have to fast every day....just try two days per week to go at least 18 hours between supper and breakfast. If you have an underlying metabolic issue, this somehow corrects it. I don't know how, but hey, it's actually Biblical! Seriously!

If SB won't work for you, give this a shot. (I'd ask what do you have to lose but that would just be too corny!) I believe in my heart that you have reached a setpoint on Atkin's/VLC. Maybe I am wrong, but I am speaking from my experience about that "one golden shot" theory once again. If that weren't the truth for some, you wouldn't hear about it so often. I learned this when I tried that dreaded "fat fast" and nothing happened even then. I knew, right then, I was not going to lose anymore on VLC. If you go back to that, consider putting a time limit on it. If you haven't reached 1/2 your goal by 2011, then you will maybe know, as I did, that it just wasn't going to work. You are still relatively young, so at least you have some time on your side.

Seriously, good luck!
