I'm especiallly aware of the sugar addiction because, in November, when it got cold, I began taking more levidopa pills so I could get as much done as before. I didn't realize the effects they would have. I developed dopamine psychosis.

For the last several weeks, I've been strictly complying with my 3-hour meds schedule, while my meds conk out at least half an hour early. I've been eating a LOT more sugar. I've read that when Parkies gorge on sugar, they're not trying to boost glucose, they're trying to boost dopamine.

I think tonight will be turkey burgers and mayo.
