Default Famous fruitarian dead of organ failure during dry fast

It happened about a week ago, but there was barely a blip except among those who believe in fruitarianism... which is, fortunately, not many people.

A few days ago I saw from video responses from certain names in the keto community, but those have vanished. I don't know why, but I did find this rebuttal video:

Robert Lockhart’s Death, Fruitarian: My Response

I think it's a warning about dry fasting as much as anything else. And if anyone can find anything do please add it. There's plenty of his followers online trying to make 70 sound exceptionally long-lived, but I don't think so.

First time I've ever heard the term "dry fasting." Looked it up. Doesn't sound good. But then, people desperate to lose weight know all about techniques-- including LC, Keto, and intermittent fasting--that "experts" say can either help you or kill you.

I'm sitting here clacking away on my computer to get past "lunchtime" today when I might be having some food. For now, this form of fasting seems to be helpful for me. But...gimme water please. Or make it bouillon.

And by the way, at 73 I hope I haven't even come close to my Expiration Date.

Me neither. I turn 71 tomorrow and as far as I can tell my expiration date is not any time soon. The sun is finally shining so I think I will take my elderly body out for a walk.

I've got lots of long-lived relatives, even with the illnesses like diabetes and congestive heart failure that dot the record. I think low carb can help me dodge such things, so I'll have a good time driving for the hoop!

I'm 73 and twice I've come really close to expiring. The first was from a pulmonary embolism with multiple clots. My physician was shocked that I was not dead as he said that what I had was usually diagnosed during the autopsy. The second time was last summer when a blood vessel in my brain broke.
The clots are a genetic problem and I've had them since my 40s
I now am on anti-coagulates for the rest of my life.
In spite of those two incidents, my physician gave me an A on my last physical.
I don't have a great family history of male longevity. I have now lived longer than either grandfather, my dad, and two brothers.

Remember the term hardening of the arteries? That was a thing back in the day before all of the testing we have now.
I remember them saying that about my Grandmother, my mother also worried about clots in the legs so I take vitamin E every so often because it might help me from having clots!

E really does work to thin the blood as they tell people not to take it if they're going for surgery!
