Thumbs up I'm shrinking!

Dateline Australia, January 8th.
Our Brisbane correspondent reports a mysterious loss of substance from a plump middleaged woman this week.
The woman, who had weighed 182lbs last week, now only weighs 178.5. The man who shares her living space reports losing even more, 4.5lbs.
The couple deny alien invasion and both swear they are eating plenty of food, but the missing pounds have not returned. The couple state the pounds have gone forever.
Your reporter will continue to research this story; more information about the missing pounds will be given as it comes to hand.

Experts at lowcarb.ca have told reporters that this woman's story with lost chunks may only be the beginning.

Talking

LOL, Karen!

The woman, who claims to be happy about the missing "material" admits she is deeply jealous of her partner who is missing an extra pound, despite cheating whenever she wasn't looking!
Sigh.

Nah, I'm thrilled to bits!

Mind you, I was pretty unhappy with him for bringing me home a chocolate bar the other day. "One now and then won't hurt."
I'm pleased and proud to say it's still in the freezer.

Default congrats!

Good on ya!
As another newbie, I gotta say it's exciting to hear other people's successes. I've had two separate weeks where I didn't think I'd post losses, yet still managed to drop 2lbs. I miss my Coca-Cola, but hey, it really is great to be a 'Loser'

Snoopy,
It is really great to be a loser. I miss my chocolate and sweets but I know that I will probally never be able to eat allot of these because I am learning to love foods that will keep me healthy.
You not is weird, I getting to love the taste of water. I have one cup of coffee in the morning then it is water all through the day.
I am also new to the forum but not to Atkins and this forum is the greatest.
Have a wonderful day full of fun and joy.

Congratulations. If you want to make it very real for yourself, pile up 4 pounds of butter and see how much of you is gone.

Hi Barbar,
I do eat allot of butter. My husband complain that I live on the stuff. I use it for everything. I never did use but sparinly before but now I use it on everything. I have the problem, that atkins does away with my appetite and I have to force myself to eat.
I never thought that who happen.
Have a wonderful lo carb day.

Default EXTRA POUNDS FOUND

I found the flying poundage- it landed smack dab down on my behind!! I had a bad last couple of weeks, and suddenly I went outside to go shopping and I felt something land on me.
Well- I picked myself up this morning and got back on top of the game.
I am going to have to shoot those pounds right back up into orbit and steer it towards Japan (they are all skinny over there !)
