Ann, That is so great how your entire family helps take care of your mom. That's the way it should always be!

So, the last entry on this thread was way back in the fall of 2014. Y'all may be interested to know that Mother passed away December 12 of last year from a blood clot that broke from her leg and went through her lungs.
She was 91 and while she had been doing ok, more or less, I think her dementia was suddenly escalating and the time had just come, I guess. She lived a long life and had decent quality of life for most of it but was becoming less and less responsive to efforts to keep her cheered up unless it involved going somewhere, which we couldn't do endlessly.
She also had severe, constant pain in her knee where it was replaced.
Just wanted to let those of you know, who so sweetly encouraged me. So many other changes now. So much diet support needed for me.

You were a wonderful daughter. My deepest sympathy to you and the family who took such good care of her these past few years.
