Fast food habit days successful: 51/90 (started 11/01/20)
Carb habit days successful: 11/90 (started 12/10/20)

My carb habit:
Keep carbs to 100g or less daily.

My fast food habit:
No restaurants/fast food for 90 days, with the exception of date nights with my husband. (It must be an actual date, we can’t just go out to dinner to go out to dinner.)

92g carbs yesterday and no fast food/restaurants.

I'm a bit behind schedule, as I haven't updated in a few days. Things have been on track and little to no snacking in the evenings.

Timeline: Dec 7th - March 7th
Habit: Eating Less than 200 calories after 7:00 PM
Exception: Eating Dinner if delayed due to schedule/conflict

Practice plan thru December 31:

Simple: Take food between waking and high noon only. Low carb; no tracking - staying off scale for another 90 days too, fit of clothes is good enough measure.

Note:

side experiment last night prep for DDF next quarter. Was hungry in the evening and took my BG to see what it was and how it related to "feeling" a certain level of hunger. BG was 92 so that's pretty normal I'd guess for me during the day (finding out more next quarter) - I thought, "I'll wait for a bit and if my BG gets below 90 before I go to bed I'll eat something. It did get to 88 so I ate some more food outside of eating hours and went to bed.

I'll be real curious after I establish DDF baseline BG to see if thats even anywhere close to the go ahead and eat number - I still have to learn more about it but was playing with the idea last night. So I get an O for the day haha.

I'll be ending the "eat before noon" practice for the quarter on Friday Jan 1 then picking up DDF Monday Jan 4 for Q1 2021 - maybe some form of liberal carbing up in between.

94g carbs and no fast food or restaurants again. Feeling good about this goal and hoping I sort of naturally want to eat fewer carbs, but capping it is a good goal for me.

Another day down. I did snack last night, but measured out my cheese and cream to ensure I was not going over 200. Ended with 175.

I really do think that this thread has helped me get things moving and has helped me gain control of my snacking. I'm not there yet, but moving in the right direction.

Hang in there Jess. Even with being over on carbs the last two days, you are still sticking to the fast food goal. Keep it up!

I think that was your concern about trying to start this at the holidays. You've had a couple bumps but that's ok. Keep pushing and working towards your goals and you will get there. You CAN do this, Jess.

Just a little bit of cheese for me last night. Under my 200 calorie limit.

Merry Christmas everyone! Thanks for the encouragement, Jeff. I figured this time would be rough for me.

Did not stick to my carb goal yesterday, but no fast food again. And let me tell you it was actually tempting for a second! But then we made dinner from what we had already planned, and as soon as I was tempted to order a Christmas eve splurge meal, the temptation passed.
