Angry I blew it

After weeks of sticking to PP and keeping my carbs most days around 20, tonight I ate pizza. I was so frustrated that I haven't lost any weight since day 10....and things were really hectic around the house, so when my hubby ordered pizza for himself and the kids, I said "what the heck..." but now I am saying "what the heck was I thinking!" After 2 pieces I felt stuffed. And now I am kicking myself. And to top it off, I never exercized today either. arrrrrgghhh!

I know the old saying: When you fall off a horse, get right back on again.

And: tomorrow is another day.

Still it bothers me that I caved in so easily. I wonder if I will ever lose this weight!!

Hey Donna! you've done very well for less than a month. Doesn't it seem like a miracle to you?

There will be other times when you will kick yourself for caving so easily, but you've got the right attitude. Just get back on the horse!

Default pizza

My hubby and I are both on Atkins, but the kids drive us nuts to order pizza every once in a while so what we do is, we just eat the top of the pizza ( the cheese & peperoni) and leave the crust behind. The next time your hubby orders pizza try doing that, or better yet see if the place that you order from has some LC alternatives to pizza.

As far as kicking yourself, while I admit that it is good exercise, it is also painful...try kicking your husband istead, it's far less painful and much more rewarding!!

Well Karen - I thought I'd let you know that I climbed back on the horse today. Dinner tonight was steamed cauliflower and turkey slices with cheddar cheese. I am planning a bike ride with my son in a few minutes.
Hopefully, I won't get bucked off again anytime soon.

Giddy-up

Good going girl, but like Tina says...if the pizza thing happens again (thank goodness this is something I don't care for that much) just eat the toppings.....leave the crust behind.
